Just a guess, but I think AI would be nowhere near as good as a seasoned coaching staff right now, but who knows where this is going in the future AI answer: theoretically, yes—an opposing coaching staff could use an AI like me as part of its scouting process. They could provide game film, statistics, tendencies, and personnel information and ask for things like: * Which players appear to be the biggest threats? * What offensive/defensive tendencies are visible? * Where are the weaknesses? * Which matchups should we attack? * What does this quarterback do well and poorly? * What adjustments might this team make? * Which players are being underrated by the statistics? And if they gave me actual film, I could potentially identify things that aren’t obvious from a box score.
