I don't agree with this. Several games come to mind - 2023 Beat University of Miami, who had beaten 2 ranked teams including Clemson and had beaten RU in each of the 11 prior times they played 2023 Beat Va Tech who went on to a winning season and bowl win over a top 25 team and had beaten RU 12 straight times prior 2024 Beat an 8-5 Minnesota team that went on to beat Va Tech in a bowl game after beating USC, UCLA, Illinois and Wisky during the RS and who had beaten RU in each of the 3 times they played including 73 - 7 combined in prior 2 2024 Beat the years previous national finalist Washington who had been ranked in the top 25 to start the season and had drubbed RU the only 2 prior times they played 2024 Again beat Va Tech, this time on the road, a team that ultimately won 6 games and played in the Dukes Mayo bowl (losing to Minn) Are any of these wins earth shattering ? Certainly not, but lets give some credit where credit is due.
