I was a senior in HS, and watched it from my girlfriends house, with her Nebraska born and raised parents(Living in IL at the time). I remember her dad asking me how I felt about the Huskers prospects of winning. I told him if it was close midway through the 4th, that our rushing attack would break a couple of sneaky runs for big gains and probably a TD to win it. In those days, our OL/RB were too much for just about anyone we played....man, there were some heartbreaking losses to Florida teams in the 80's and 90's. Great games though.
