Impressed So Far
Summary

See, to me, the reason we lost was not the OL, but but because we had an inexperienced backfield. We had a one dimensional QB. Either wouldn't or wasn't allowed to run. We had a true freshman RB. OL play looks a lot better when you have guys that can run through contact. OL play also looks better when you have a QB that can hurt you with his legs. We had both of of these in '24. When you lack these facets, the OL has to hold blocks longer and block the opposing team almost perfectly. As you know, when playing good teams, they can take advantage of your weaknesses. People forget that the we returned 3 of 5 starters from the national championship team on the OL. Guys that played pretty well. It was not the OL! Then you add in that we had an inexperienced and unqualified OC last season. You're better off letting guys leave rather than putting them in jobs that jeopardize your business. Just like in the business world. That said, sometimes you have give people a chance. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. Last year...not!
