If I recall correctly, we were close for the last two years, but suffered from shooting ourselves in the foot. That often comes from lack of preparation or discipline, or even lack of football smarts. So, to me, the improvement in talent is only a part of what it will take to get over the hump. I can see us staying in the same rut we have been in OR improving to a winning record like 8 - 4. I’m hoping for the latter but am all too aware that whatever those mental issues are could happen again. I don’t mean this to be negative, but a reflection of my anxiety.
