OKC Dave's survey results are in!
Summary
Pick/market: The link: I'll let you all dive in and see what you think about it.

But here are a few interesting notes from my point of view. -Based on the 1,180 fans who took the survey, the official fan over-under for the Pokes is 6.9 wins, basically the same as the Vegas line of 6.5 (though some sites still have OSU at 5.5 wins). One-fourth of the fans believe OSU will go 7-5. -Dave presented the scenario that a fan had $1 million to give to NIL and asked how they would divide it up among programs. The average gift to football was $333,046, which is up $100k from last year's answers to the same question. -Confidence in the offense is way up, with a 4.6 score out of a possible 5.0. It's the highest score since Dave added that question to the survey five years ago. Confidence in the defense is down with a 3.4 rating, the lowest in that same span. -The rate of fans who are "much more interested" in the football team is the highest it's been since Dave started recording it in the survey in 2010 with 39% of fans selecting that option. In 11 of the 17 years Dave has asked the question, the "no change" category was the most frequent selection. This is the first time in that span where "much more interested" was the highest selection of all five options. The "much more interested" category was at 10% a year ago. -David Taylor, followed by Alan Bratton, topped the coach/admin rating index, with Taylor at 4.8 out of 5.0. Bratton came in at 4.4, with Kenny Gajewski and Jacie Hoyt tied for third at 4.1. Eric Morris landed at fifth at 4.0. -Local kid Jaleel Johnson, from PC North in Oklahoma City, was voted both the fan favorite on defense, as well as the breakout player on defense. Drew Mestemaker took the offensive favorite, with Chris Barnes pulling the breakout player tag. -Lastly, in the media section, GoPokes came in third based on how fans view the coverage provided, behind Pistols Firing and the Pistols Firing podcast. I consider Marshall Scott a good friend and I love the work they do over at PFB. Given that I've only been here about 7 weeks and haven't really impacted opinions that much, I believe I owe a tip of the hat to McClain Baxley for having built this into a well-oiled machine here before handing me the keys. And a tip of the hat to all of you who participated in the survey for having confidence in what we're doing here.
