Loved week 2, but nit-picky negative me can’t help but get a little nervous about Mehringer, specifically his comments about controlling tempo and running the ball. To me Oregon is too talented to have that mindset, I think Oregon should be a pass first offense trying to maximize explosion plays with a great running game to compliment it, not a running game to try and control tempo. Meanwhile the all star defense should focus on 3 and outs and suffocating opposing defense, but from everything I’ve seen I truly think Hampton is the right man for the job so not too worried there. I really hope we don’t see an underperforming offense again.
