Sawyer Anderson won Arizona's backup quarterback job behind Noah Fifita after producing more explosive plays than the other contenders during camp.

Anderson's year in the system gave him an advantage processing the offense, and Seth Doege believes he can handle nearly the same game plan as Fifita.

Anderson adds mobility, off-platform throwing and outside-the-pocket creation that distinguish his skill set from the rest of Arizona's quarterback room.

Doege expects only modest play-calling adjustments if Anderson must replace Fifita and believes Arizona can still win major games with him.
