Auburn used a full mock game week to rehearse its new staff's meeting schedule, opponent preparation and situational procedures before the Baylor opener.

The rehearsal exposed execution and communication issues created by Auburn's many new coaches, transfers and freshmen, giving the staff a week to correct them before game preparation narrowed.

Alex Golesh said the team responded fairly well and produced several solid stretches, but the expectation is now for a cleaner, nearly flawless game-week routine against Baylor.
