Citadel transfer Bradlee Jones is a key candidate in Rutgers' rebuilt cornerback group after three 2025 starters departed, and Greg Schiano said he is highly confident Jones can handle the move to the Big Ten.

Jones brings 35 consecutive games, 23 starts, 106 tackles and 19 pass breakups from The Citadel, giving Rutgers an experienced option despite the jump from the FCS level.

Jones owns a 10.31-second 100-meter time and added 10 pounds to reach 185, while daily work against receiver KJ Duff has tested his coverage before the opener.
