My score: Penn St. 34 Herd. 20 You have some good points here and I'm right there with you on the defense. I think Lambert makes this defense better than last season. I don't know much from a player perspective but I'm hoping we have a few new hidden gems and a couple that have dramatically improved over last year. I do not think Marshall can win this one and I'm not trying to kid myself into believing this. For me, I'm looking at how this program responds if and when they get down. I'm looking at the offensive play calling and kids that make plays and keep fighting no matter the score. Get the play in and snap the ball on time. No false starts. Same on defense. Get lined up in the right spots. If we get burnt, so be it. How do they adjust and now allow it again? Dont bite on tricks and gimmicks and don't give up big plays. How does Marshall match up again Penn state and how can Gibson translate that to the non conference and most importantly conf schedule. I do think the rest of the schedule, while challenging in part is winnable. 27-12 Penn State
