What Michigan OL Blake Frazier said about his offseason improvements, expectations for the U-M offense
Summary
-
Blake Frazier won Michigan's starting left-tackle job with one of the line's most consistent camps, while Andrew Babalola was limited by a minor injury.
-
Frazier is now over 300 pounds and believes his added size, retained athleticism and more aggressive mindset address the physical and mental limitations he showed in 2025.
-
Michigan expects all three guard contenders to play against Western Michigan, with Evan Link working next to Frazier on the left side and six experienced starters available across the line.
-
The offense intends to make its three-back run game the weekly foundation and also expects quarterback Bryce Underwood's mobility to be part of the rushing attack.
-
Offensive-line coach Jim Harding has emphasized exhaustive pressure-look preparation and shared film study, giving the veteran unit a clearer plan for improving its pass protection.
