I have lived in LA county for 10 years and Orange County for 35 years. That is always the excuse for suc's poor attendance. There is too much to do on game day. Too many options. You have 6-7 game day Saturdays a year. On Saturdays if you are on the fence about going to a condom game or the 'plethora' of options available for 4-6 hours, what does LA have to offer other schools with avid fan bases don't have ? Hmm. We all have restaurants, movie theaters, parks etc. How many times are you going to the La Brea Tar Pits or the frickin Wax museum ? Granted, they do not exist in Eugene. My point is 99.9 % of people down here do the same things people do everywhere throughout the country. Using that excuse is tired and ridiculous. The suc fanbase simply does not care much about college football. Period.
