Some ACC thoughts
Summary
QB/DL: Been watching some of these other ACC teams play and here’s my thoughts on them FSU-They should be better than last year, but they also don’t look good.
Been watching some of these other ACC teams play and here’s my thoughts on them
FSU-They should be better than last year, but they also don’t look good. Their offense just feels like it’s going to be mediocre at best, and I’ve no further bought in on their QB from the preseason
GT-They’re taking a huge step back this year. It was clear in watching their opener. Colorado isn’t good. GT looks like a team that will need to fight for bowl eligibility
Miami-They should be just as good as last year. While the defense and line lose a lot, having a better and more consistent QB is only going to make them more balanced and dangerous on offense.
UNC-On the plus side they’re better than last year. Although I don’t think they’re going to be good, they should at least be competitive bad (4/5/6 wins). Their DL is going to be good
NC State-What an ugly, flat performance. Especially when you consider UVA is hardly an elite team. Bailey is good at disappearing/disappointing
Stanford-One of the worst teams in the league, but I like them better than BC. Barely took down Hawaii then killed by the Canes
Virginia-I’m not sure what to make of this game. I’m not sure they’ll be able to repeat last year, but the way they beat down NCSU makes me wonder if they can, or if it was just NCSU being bad?
Wake-It was a nothing game against Akron, but I don’t know how I feel about this team. The coach has gotten them to overachieve the past few years. Maybe he can do it again with this group? But I didn’t see a ton that made me confident in them getting to 6/7 wins
