In his absence, I thought PJ was really solid and Wyatt Gilmore's performance looked quite promising. BV said 80 guys played in the game. But RB DeZephen Walker wasn't one of them. Is he nicked up, or was he held out because he isn't doing what the coaches want him to do off the field? I thought Avant was solid -- but was not impressed with Xavier & Andy Bass. Would have been nice seeing what Blaylock & Walker can do with the ball in their hands. Also wanted to see Hatton get more than three carries. "The Sooners finished with more than twice as many rushing attempts (39) as they did pass attempts (19) in the opener.". -- I was happy with that. Hope BV doesn't allow Arbuckle to deviate from about 40 carries per game this season.
