How it happened: Florida vs. FAU
Summary
Pick/market: First of all, to think we are going to move the ball like we did yesterday against better defenses is naive.

First of all, to think we are going to move the ball like we did yesterday against better defenses is naive. Another factor some just like to ignore is playing on the road. We are inexperienced at QB, have an OL that has played together once and a defense we still don't know enough about. And playing at places like Auburn and Missouri is no easy task.
The idea that final conclusions are made off of one game, will lead to disappointment. This team still has holes, some of which we don't even know yet. My expectation is that we will get better on D, but the offense isn't just going to march up and down the field like it did yesterday.
Let's play 3-4 games before we see the real strengths and weaknesses of this team. Not to say we can't be undefeated heading into the UT game, but expecting it happen and the team just rolling through the next 5 games, based on playing a single game against a weak opponent, is nothing more then looking through subjective rose color glasses.
I am much more encouraged about this program, not so much about yesterdays performance, but rather Sumrall's philosophy, coaching hires and intensity that has been missing from this program for the better part of more than a decade. Let's just enjoy the change and let it play out a bit more, before lofty expectations are made about this team for the current year.
Go Gators!!
