Speed on defense
Summary
QB/RB: A few of the sustained drives were on missed assignments, not tackling, not speed.
A few of the sustained drives were on missed assignments, not tackling, not speed. A few 3rd down conversions where the first defender either thought he could hand the running back in the flat off to a teammate, or he was supposed to stick with him. That was a couple. Also a 3rd and 23 or 24 that was converted by the DB being out of position. It happens. They see tape and will fix it.
As Rabby said on the video, IU could have scored 100 today if they wanted, but they needed to work on things. On our defense, UNT wanted small quick plays and that would eliminate all pressure on the QB. They scored 16 points. We were going to give them that all day. On to Howard.
