They started the game off with 5 straight passes, only one if I'm seeing it correctly, with the rhino package. WMU looked fairly spread out. After the first drive they kept getting into a rut of trying to run it on first down and having no success (2, 1, 2, 1 their first down runs on next 4 possessions) and Michigan kept getting into predictable down and distances. For example, 3rd and 8 and the defense knows Bryce is going to try to hit JJ at around 8-10 yards and the safety is completely sitting on the route.
