I saw much I liked from Temple and some things did not like. Scoring was great. Offense had scoring passes, and scoring runs. Defense had 2 Pick 6 TDs. Special Teams had a FG, a FG miss, and a lot of End Zone distance kickoffs. TE Clark had a low pass by QB Smolik. The advantage of Clark is his height. Therefore, most passes should be higher to exploit his advantage. Opponent 3RD Down Conversions are still too high. There is little “contain” deployment on 3RD Down. Rhode Island was FCS even if good. While Defense adjusted to stop RBs from the 1ST Series, the 3RD issue reoccurred too much for my tastes. I did like the Red Zone Power I formation runs. This is traditional Temple. Can Temple use Cherry Helmuts, Cherry Jerseys, and White Pants for all home games??? Go Temple Owls!!! Beat Penn State!!!
