I'm a big KJ Lacey fan. show more In my observation I thought Texas ran the ball effectively in the first half and in the second half it appeared that Texas State made adjustments in their scheme which pretty much shut down the run for Texas.. Their safeties started playing closer to the line of scrimmage and breaking on the ball quicker. As was observed in another thread Texas running scheme was pretty vanilla with zero RPO. Also I think there was a lot of OL substitution especially in the second half which could have affected OL blocking as a unit. JMO
