He’s a solid back and happy he played well last night. That said, he didn’t do anything all that special. LSU dominated up front. With roster management being more of a focus with NIL, I think the RB position will look more and more like the NFL. Lots of talented guys at that position and really only 3-4 true game changers who are worth the extra $$$. Not saying Jones can’t be that or that was even a factor in us not retaining him but it makes seeing guys go elsewhere hurt a lot less when you can replace them rather easily.
