I had heard occasional whispers of McHaney performing well in camp, but didn’t think much of it since Smythe was getting the most buzz. I thought it was more interesting that IU didn’t use Chiddi Obiazor inside at 3-tech at all, at least from what I can remember. Seems like IU’s sticking with him at defensive end for now.
