Phillip Wright
Summary
WR/LB: Wright showed a couple glimpses of the quickness, speed and separation that is expected of top flight, "you-can't-stop-me" past LSU WR's.
Wright showed a couple glimpses of the quickness, speed and separation that is expected of top flight, "you-can't-stop-me" past LSU WR's. He will earn more and more chances from his performance last night. He is a potential deadly weapon if he continues like last night.
With exception of Watkins, WR's didn't separate enough for my benefit. The rusty throwing and receiver selection/timing of Leavitt in first half thankfully ironed itself out in the last part of second quarter and second half.
Harris had the drops early on, and he was furious with himself, but he might be able to separate in the right deep ball throws. Kiffin and Weis will give him some attempts probably against LaTech. Would suggest he snag a couple to stay in rotation.
