Sumrall updates Florida injury report; Singleton, Oyebadejo 'highly questionable' for Week 2

Jon Sumrall updated the Gators' injury report ahead of Week 2, noting Florida starting wide receiver Eric Singleton Jr. and defensive end Emmanuel Oyebadejo are "highly questionable" to play against Campbell on Saturday.
Both players experienced similar injuries in Florida's 66-21 victory over Florida Atlantic in Week 1. Singleton exited the game after his left ankle was rolled on amid Gators receiver Vernell Brown III's first-quarter, 49-yard touchdown reception; Oyebadejo had an ankle rolled on during a third-quarter point-after attempt.
Singleton did not record a statistic during the contest. Oyebadejo posted two tackles, one pass breakup and, per Pro Football Focus, a team-leading four quarterback pressures.
"Very similar injuries. They're not out today; they're out at practice some, but not able to participate," Sumrall said of Singleton and Oyebadejo. "We won't really know until middle-to-later in the week what their real availability is, but they're definitely not probable as of right now.
Sumrall also shared that running back Evan Pryor, who exited the contest early with a hip injury, is trending toward being cleared to return against Campbell, although how he responds to his practice workload will be monitored by the Florida staff throughout the week.
Pryor took the field for seven snaps against Florida Atlantic but did not record a statistic.
"Pryor was available, played a couple snaps but didn't play many. Didn't feel like he could give it a full-go," said Sumrall.
And cornerback J'Vari Flowers, who left the contest with assistance from trainers in the second half due to a cramp, will practice this week, Sumrall said.
Additionally, tight end Evan Chieca is "close" to returning to action as his practice workload has ramped up over the last week. An undisclosed injury prevented Chieca from playing in Week 1 and limited his practice availability throughout Florida's fall training camp.
Backup offensive tackle Eagan Boyer (undisclosed) and freshman wide receiver Davian Groce (back strain) did not dress for Florida's season opener due to injuries suffered in practice ahead of the game. Sumrall anticipates Boyer returning to practice this week, while Gross will likely be sidelined for at least another week.
