Found them all to be of enough entertainment value to be worth watching, for at least a half until the wheels fell off for one team or another. We couldn?t put together even a quarter of entertainment for our fans. I?d changed channels before the 2nd quarter. Completely unwatchable. We don?t have to win every game, but if we can?t even provide entertainment with all of the investment into the program, what the hell are we even doing? We couldn?t even put together enough of a game plan to get any respect out of our opponent. Basically just laughed at us. I don?t care if we suck and lose. But we have to be able to put enough of a game together to show it?s worth it to keep trying. Gotta show something or we?ll lose even more ground. Win or lose we need to at least pretend we?re playing the same game. I saw nothing that indicated Marshall football. No reason to watch if they?re not even going to try. I said Gibson's most important game as PSU in year 2 of his tenure. Not because he had to win, but because HOW MU played against PSU would show a team capable of hitting back on occasion. Huff's team drove down the field and scored on ohio state...actually did look competent and I believe they won the Sun Belt that year, despite the fans quitting on them after a bad loss later in the season. I think everyone would've been optimistic had MU looked halfway competitive, even if the score didn't indicate it. Instead, Marshall looked like they hadn't improved at all over the off-season.
