FSU’s QB looks kinda like how I imagine Mahan running our offense this year might look. Very run heavy offense with a decent amount of read option and the qb also looks to run pretty quickly when the pocket breaks down and most of the drawn up passes are short. He’s 12/20 for 123 yards and 1 TD (and the TD pass was to the RB who caught it did most of the work after the catch). They have 41 carries for 186 yards (their QB has 13 carries for 43 yards and a TD). I don’t mean this as a criticism or as a compliment, but just interesting watching this game and seeing what I think is a fairly realistic vision for a potential Mahan offense this year.
