Practice thoughts...
Summary
OL projects strong despite losing three seniors; young standouts include D Jones, Stinson, Brown, Meyer; QB situation workable with Brown or Hecklinski.
Okay, well just some final thoughts... -Lutmer, Mouton, RVZ...not a lot of action for them Saturday...all will be studs. -Just really like the size and mobility of Buffington. He looks like Jack Campbell! -Ol will be strong again this year. We won't likely be as good, losing 3 seniors/Drafted guys, but that doesn't mean we can't be very good. Every one project to contribute are 3 plus year guys in the program. -young guys who impressed (maybe still a year away)- D Jones, Stinson, Safety Brown (not young but new), Meyer, Janowski (since there was apparently some serious medical issues last year), Nahas (next great walk on story), Vitti, Allgeyer -Qb still a work in progress but I trust Lester when he says we can win with either Brown or Hecklinski. -still waiting: Nolan, T Davis (a coach told me he was a real sleeper, then he had a devastating HS injury and we haven't heard much from him) -Cool to see- late in the scrimmage- Linder, Parliament, Riordan and Nielson (at least 3 of the 4 freshman were out their together, maybe all 4)
