Couple things from Tuesday's practice

- After a lighter practice Monday, where it's a light workload and early game plan deals/fixing mistakes, Tuesday was certainly ramped up. As you'd expect. Guys came out juiced up this morning and ready to roll. Full padded practice today. ECU started practice with a physical screen pass drill where the WRs are trying to block the DBs on the perimeter, and the DBs are obviously trying to work angles and get the ball-carrier on the ground. While it was a thud tackling drill, and not taking guys to the ground, it was a very physcial drill. Highly competitive, with WR coaches and DB coaches on the other side coaching hard. You could tell the physicality on the perimeter, coming off the Alabama game (both with blocking and tackling) was an emphasis. - The good news is, because they barely played snaps, is the offense is healthy. A few notable guys defensively are currently in concussion protocol, and in the return to play process. If they pass the test, they should be good to go this weekend. But it all comes down to an evaluation later in the week. There is one non-starter defensively who will defintitely miss significant time. I'll have more on that later in the week. A few others are in evaluation mode but trying to give it a go this week. - Landon Sides worked through his second day of practice. Looked good catching and running. Lined up outside and in the slot some. Ray Ray Joseph was also participating in practice. I expect them both to play. Brock Spalding was out there, but is still being held out. - Offensive line and specifically the centers/QBs were out there early prior to practice getting as many extra snaps/reps in as possible.
