Summary
Chatman affordable QB with upside; buy-in-to-wait strategy better than overspending at QB; portal backup if needed. Could play RB.
Who knows how Chatman develops. Odds say we'll never see him start for the Tigers. But I like this strategy a lot more. Take an affordable QB with high upside. Get them to buy in to waiting and developing. Spend more readily on high end positions. If developmental QBs don't pan out take one in the portal.
Edit: I also think Chatman could play RB in the future if he didn't pan at QB.
