It’s incredibly exhausting. show more Well, I kind of doubt it will do much good, but let me explain my position. As a fan of both history and college football, I have long found the Border War rivalry to be one of the most entertaining aspects of being a Missouri football fan. I have definitely been a rabble-rouser over the years for keeping alive the historical basis of the rivalry. There have been times when I have asked myself if it is actually a good thing to stoke those embers, given the very dark aspects of that history. That internal debate has led me to feel an obligation to keep the discussion within the bounds of good taste. I know the location of that line is a subjective thing, and the line I walk is often a fine one, so I apologize if I have offended anyone with my stoking and line-drawing, but I am going to continue to do my thing and try to do it in the manner I believe to be the right way.
