PULLMAN – When Washington State takes the field this weekend at Kansas State, the Cougars’ second straight Power 4 game to open the season, they will likely do so without their best wide receiver.
Senior wideout Tony Freeman is “trending on being out” for the game nursing a knee injury, WSU coach Kirby Moore said on Monday. Coaches are still waiting on MRI results, Moore said of the injury to Freeman, who went down in the first quarter of Sunday’s Apple Cup.
