I've said it for years, there is not any level of football where losing QB1 (let alone QB1 and QB2) isn't an almost auto season derailer. Top on one of the hardest schedules in the country, and you're going to suck. That's the objective reality. Fickells made mistakes. Definitely hiring mistakes, and I don't agree with a lot of his in game management. But the overall point is short and simple. 99% of all football teams would have sucked with the injuries and schedule the Badgers had the last 2 years. The end.
