Surprisingly ASU's kickoff men did a fairly good job........11 kickoffs : 1)Carson Smith touchback 5 yds deep 2)onside kick successfully recovered by ASU's Butler 3)touchback 8 yds deep 4)touchback 1 yd deep 5)touchback 3 yds deep 6)kickoff returned from the 2 to the 27 ---no bueno 7)kickoff returned to the 15 from the 1 1/2--muy bueno 8)kickoff to the 1 and return man steps back into the EZ and whistle is blown 9)touchback as kick hits at the 1 and rolls into the EZ 10)ASU penalized before kicking (delay of game on Keiffer) and ball is moved back to the 30 from where it is kicked to the 5 and returned to the 25 but MSU has a block in the back and ball is placed at the 12 11)Keiffer gets another chance to kickoff and it goes to the 5 and is returned to the 18 4 MSU KORs for 70 yds No FG attempts, no punts for ASU 10-10 on extra points with Smith getting 8 and Keiffer getting 2 Corey Butler had a 7 yd punt return on the 1st punt of the game (on 8 MSU punts all played appropriately....no long rolls, etc) Grayson Rigdon had an 18 yd KOR from the 19 to 37 to start the 2nd half ASU also returned to it's record setting ways with Special Teams penalties in Q2/Series 7 when Hughes was flagged for holding on a punt return and a delay of game before Carston Keiffer made his Q3 kickoff
