The Arkansas football team may have ended up on top, but concerns are aplenty following an 31-14 win over North Alabama on Saturday in Fayetteville.
Head coach Ryan Silverfield’s offense, led by quarterback KJ Jackson, struggled to find consistency or a flow for much of the game. Jackson still finished 24-for-35 with three touchdowns, but two turnovers and a lack of explosiveness played a big part in Arkansas’ underwhelming point performance.
For the most part, the defense was a different story. Defensive coordinator Ron Roberts’ unit held the Lions to 153 total yards compared to Arkansas’ 415. “STAR” Khmori House and “JACK” Charlie Collins each notched a sack, while linebacker Ben Bogle led in total tackles (four).
