It's because most on JOL are living in a GT idealist fanboy bubble and we all convinced ourselves a new OC, reconstructed Oline, new QB1, new RB1 and largely new WR/TE group would come out of the gate rock'n and roll'n. Optimism rules the offseason. The beauty of sports is once the games begin the real world happens - painful in our case! I'll be more concerned if our offense doesn't show significant improvement after the first three games. There were significant positives to build on (QB, receivers, passing game, secondary) if the OC/Key can recognize how to play call when the box is loaded and simplify enough for the Oline to execute.
