I love the reporting and article highlighting Riley's embrace of the fans. And this after a lightly attended game which is what he wants to change and have a full house every game just like in the Pete Carroll days. He can't just say he wants us to come to the games and make it a true home field advantage. He has to demonstrate that he wants us and he needs to connect to us. In that regard, he needs to understand that one of our main connections to the team are the media reporters who cover them. He can set guidelines on what the reporters can report, but he needs to give them access to practices so that his fans can have access and see how this team is developing and competing in practice. The diehard fans will always come. But he needs to hype up the casual fans to want to come. He can use the reporters and their media platforms for that purpose.
