QB/LB: They’re expecting a pass because it’s 2nd and 9 and they line up in trips.
They’re expecting a pass because it’s 2nd and 9 and they line up in trips. The receivers were confused too. The play call out of the huddle was most likely a pass and the qb checked to a run play when he realized they had us out-man’d, 6 blockers on 6 defenders in the box. The lineman are even confused and Des easily sheds the block and makes a good play.
This is not a positive play for the offense.
