Love a good post week one hot take. I have a few: 1. Looking at post Lane Ole Miss and their schedule I wouldn’t be surprised if they go about 8-4 or 7-5. They could easily be 2-2 in a few weeks after they play LSU and go to the swamp. As of right now I’m more worried about UF in Atlanta than at Ole Miss. 2. I think an “under the radar” type of team right now will sneak into the playoffs. My prediction is Penn State. Matt Campbell is a good HC and he has an experienced QB and team that is familiar with his system. Also look at their very soft schedule. Their toughest game might be USC. IF they can handle their schedule and play with confidence and steal one at Michigan or Washington that can be a 10-2 or 11-1 team. 3. This might be my hottest take but I think Texas misses the playoffs again.. I can easily see that team going 9-3 if they lose to Ohio State this weekend. Thats a really talented roster and they can easily be one of the best teams but if they lose this weekend.. The pressure is on.
