I don't think it hints at that unless you can demonstrate that he had ample receiving weapons but as QB was unable to get the ball to them. What we saw on Saturday makes me question more what options he had in the pass game once the run game failed rather than wonder how he maybe failed as QB. There is enough sample size, imo, of Barney in the slot, Lindenmeyer at TE and Nelson (and now Rule) from the backfield as screen or hot route threats for AC to counter a stacked box. AC clearly had the ability to make those types of throws and I think a stacked box against him will get you chunked...if not house-called. Seriously, AC made a handful of screen and RPO throws on Saturday that have been missing from NU QB's since...? NU's screen game has been atrocious since probably Ganz.
