Just to add to my thought… Forever the argument about playing TU is that there’s no upside other than an easy road trip. We are guaranteed to get their best shot every single year. Ive always pushed back against that argument but this is the perfect example of the trap aspect. Especially as game 1. That TU team has gameplanned for us since spring ball and we showed up thinking we could PlayStation them. That's 100% on Eric and staff. We objectively have better (on paper, off the bus) players but got consistently outplayed by a mediocre team that was focused prepared and playing with fire in their guts. Theres a chance, albeit a long term chance that may not even matter this season, but a chance this punched in the mouth toughens us up down the road. We shall see. Everything about Morris’s resume tells me this is an anomaly but man it looks bad.
