His knock as a QB when he hit the portal was his terrible decision-making under pressure and when a play breaks down. With the terrible OL we have, Lonergan is the exact kind of QB we CANT have playing, and it was clear as day vs. lowly UMASS. He is a poor fit for this team. I wish we put whatever NIL invested in Lonergan into either side of the line. Instead we went out and invested in an unnecessary and marginal QB battle with a poorly fitting inbound QB
