This team is more vocal, faster, and seems to have better cohesion compared to last year. Seems like the captains have stepped up early as seen in the quote from Kilgore talking to Lashlee about having the Offense’ back after the TO. Wasn’t perfect and should not give up that many turn overs but on offense, the only true returning starter for KJ is Yamir. Cooper is good and will continue to grow and fill out, he got out bodied on the play that lead to the pick. The two back tandem of Raphael and Green reminds me of Gibbs and Montgomery last year for the Lions. Can be a lethal combo. Need to stay healthy. Randy Pittman and Yannick are certified ballers, Hale is working on that confidence but is showing flashes. Coming back from that crazy injury, he’s looking great. Following week 1, the talent is very evident on this team. The only thing holding it back will be discipline and (maybe a special teams coach). Exciting team to watch.
