He said it was a catch but not a TD. Small consolation, I guess. I’ve always contended that the play should have never occurred because we had sacked the QB on 4th down the previous play but had been called offside when we weren’t (very late flag thrown on that play). Will stand by that until dirt nap time arrives. Our DE (think it was Chatelain?) got a great jump, beat their LT badly and got to the QB so quickly it may have looked like he was offside. He wasn’t. Won’t ever forget JB giving that ref an earful all the way to the tunnel at halftime, either.
