Liked what I saw but not ready to call the playcalling great yet. It’s easy to call plays when you can count on your run game getting 5-7 yards every time you run it. When your base run game starts struggling and you’ve gotta look further down that play sheet it gets tougher. That’s when you see if you’re really a good playcaller. Can you manufacture a functional run game when you’re not whipping them up front ? Can you come up with a good call to get yourself out of 2nd and 12 ? Saturday was nice, but there was basically zero adversity.
