Well sure I was obviously strawmanning as a joke, I don't think people literally say that. But every Blaze posession, even those that resulted in points, rarely were engineered on his QB play. The staff seemed to only trust him to throw on third downs, rolling out ot his right so the field could be cut in half and he'd have easy scramble opportunities. Its that sort of long, prodding play that led to the team scoring so few points against an FCS opponent. How much of that is Blaze versus gameplanning, we can't know for sure. But as an outside, it looked like Blaze wasn't making the right calls on read options and passed up downfield passing plays when he could throw so he could scramble. It wasn't bad QB play by any means because there were no obvious mistakes, but it was limiting, slow, and generally ineffective against a far inferior opponent.
Curtis had 3 drives. A two minute drill, a failed 4th down in field goal range, and an end-of-game run out the clock situation. Though none were scores, the offense was much more optioned and dynamic. The lack of points doesn't signal much of anything to me here anymore than Blaze's first drive 3 points that consisted nearly entirely of handoffs.
So I don't think just because we hold Blaze's 19 against him, we reciproically have to hold Curtis's 0 against him. Curtis's drives took place in entirely different context. Blaze should have been scoring on all of those, I'd say Curtis really only should've scored on his second- a drive he could have scored had they brought out Brock or didn't run an AWFUL MK Young handoff
