DBs, LBs and Safetys get the vast majority of the targeting calls. Most happen at absolute breakneck (no pun ) speeds. The massive catastrophic injury possibility of these hits makes it imperative that everything possible is done to avoid or eliminate these types of dangerous hits. I absolutely love watching these young men play the great sport of college football. Therefore: I love all the players especially Husky players. The last thing I want to see is another one of those life threatening injuries to the players I love. So, if a questionable targeting call is made, so be it. Maybe in some small capacity these calls will help to lessen or eliminate the dangerous head to head hits. Sorry for the rant.
