How will we do the remaining 10 games?
Summary
Game breakdown: It will come down to what adjustments Timmy makes in his game planning and play calling.
It will come down to what adjustments Timmy makes in his game planning and play calling. Other teams has figured our offense out and smart coaches have a blueprint on how to stop this offense. Alrjado's physical stature has it's deficiences. His height limits his field vision. Ds will force short passes. Force small slots over the middle and Alejado has a difficult throw. Clog the middle with eight, passing windows are tight. Force short passes to the flats, DEs jump and knock down passes. Force Alejado to run and eventually he get's dinged. He is not a threat to run. Opposing teams want him to run. Hit Alejado every chance you got and wear him down. He will get frustrated. Our current offense is a touchy, feely offense. Our offensive game plan is not an offense with the mentality that we are going to ATTACK you. We need to develop an attitude that our O is going to throw everything at you. Our first play from scrimmage is always a run or a short pass. We have to throw deep early and often, stretch the field vertically. Use slot speed to stretch the field horizontally. Get Rice the ball against LBs. Attack. I can't believe screens and shovels are so ineffective. That just shows a lack of commitment, practice and execution on the part of the coaches. If we don't change we are looking at a 6-6 season. Upside is 8-4.
