Yeah if you can't get to a pub, your best bet is to probably go with someone like Virgin Media streaming once you get to Scotland. Pro-tip for dealing with the jet lag from the US to the UK: first day you get there, absolutely no naps. Keep everyone active and awake. Drink tons of orange juice. Then sack out as late as you can stand it (at least 8 PM local). It will get them onto the time zone a lot quicker with a lot fewer hangups. First day will be a bit of a pain in the rear, but it's the best way I have found to do it.
