First Offensive Play
Summary
QB: I just see absolutely NOTHING to be gained by risking a deep throw on the 1st play of the season.
I just see absolutely NOTHING to be gained by risking a deep throw on the 1st play of the season. It makes no sense to me at all. Against an inferior opponent I want my Offense to start the game off in a physically dominating fashion, not even allowing the opposition ONE SNIFF of hope.
Throwing a deep ball that can possibly be INT-ed, INC, or even having the QB sacked is no way to establish dominance or even confidence among your players.
