I don’t think he’s ‘clueless’ - there’s a solid argument for just punching it thru with Davison or throwing a ball beyond the sticks vs risking a catch + block + juke
The latter makes sense to mix it up but seems weak as an identity with what we got even if it’s an RPO read.
Also lot of wisdom in the pump fake. Would have been a huge gain vs pick 6 first play against Indiana. Make them honest then take the easy yards.
